Position: Detail-Oriented Inventory Clerk Role
Become a key player at Capstone as an Inventory Clerk / Purchaser in Peterborough. This position focuses on managing inventory effectively and supporting procurement processes vital for our renewable energy operations.

This role, reporting to the Plant Manager, involves overseeing all purchasing and inventory activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely notifications to vendors and stakeholders. You’ll support accounts payable, manage logistics processes, and conduct regular inventory counts to enhance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with managers to address inventory operational issues

• Manage procurement, including purchase orders and vendor sourcing

• Aid in accounts payable with invoice matching and concerns

• Ensure communication with vendors is timely and clear

• Monitor and count inventory for accuracy and reporting

Requirements:

• 1-3 years’ experience in inventory or purchasing

• Education in business or supply chain management preferred

• Experience using inventory control systems is beneficial

• Strong detail orientation and organizational skills

• Competence in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
