Become a key player at BWXT Nuclear Energy Canada Inc. as a Finance Manager for the Fuel division in Peterborough, Ontario. Oversee essential full-cycle accounting tasks and strategic financial planning. In this onsite chance, you’ll focus on enhancing financial performance metrics, revenue recognition, and contract compliance for the Fuel division.
Your expertise will support operations through financial insights and effective budget management while ensuring adherence to GAAP.
Key Responsibilities- Review customer agreements and approve project bookings
- Lead financial reviews to optimize decision-making
- Monitor ongoing financial performance and variances
- Identify and mitigate risks in financial operations
- Maintain compliance with corporate governance
- Bachelor’s degree majoring in business or accounting
- CPA designation or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of related accounting experience
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Experience with SAP/BPC an asset
