Reporting to the Sales Manager, your role is pivotal in driving new business for Merlo in construction. You will need a minimum of 3 years' experience in equipment sales to build strong relationships and tailor solutions that cater to client needs. Your expert grasp of market trends will facilitate strategic selling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within construction
• Conduct structured territory management with regular job site visits
• Present impactful ROI to clients for equipment upgrades
• Build trust as a reliable advisor to contractors
• Stay updated on competitor activities and market dynamics
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in construction
• Strong skills in cold calling and consultative selling
• Documented success in achieving sales targets
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Valid driver’s license for client visits
