Industrial Water Treatment Operator

Milestone is seeking a Water Treatment System Operator to oversee on-site water treatment operations throughout Ontario. Contribute to critical environmental projects through hands-on system management.

As a Water Treatment System Operator, you will be integral to the efficient management of both temporary and permanent water treatment systems, performing essential duties such as routine sampling, maintenance, and data reporting. This exciting field position offers a variety of challenges and responsibilities, ensuring compliance with environmental standards while often requiring travel to remote northern sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize water treatment system operations

• Conduct thorough inspections and performance evaluations

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs

• Prepare daily reports and operational records

• Engage with project stakeholders and regulatory bodies

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of industrial water treatment experience

• Post-secondary in Environmental Science or similar

• Valid Ontario Class G Driver's License required

• Standard First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain)

• Experience with remote site work and environmental sampling
