Mechanical Apprentice (4th to 5th Year) - Plumbing/Pipe fitting and Welding
Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Apprentice with welding tickets and pipe fitting experience for the Blommers project in Campbellford, Ontario. This is a great opportunity to work with one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies and be part of a dynamic, industry‑leading team!
Responsibilities / QualificationsWe are looking for construction tradespersons who have experience with:
- Registered Apprentice (4th to 5th year)
- TSSA Tig Welding Certification
- Hydrotesting
- Preferable Telehandler ticket
- Knowledge of Bolt Up, Fastening of Steel and Steel Members
- Reading & interpreting interferences from all drawings
- Process Piping & Equipment Install
- Compressed air piping and process hot/cold water piping systems
- Establishing control points with accuracy
- PVC/HDPE and stainless‑steel piping
- Installation of various types of mechanical equipment and architectural hardware
- Transfer levels over large distances with accuracy
- Rigging and installing equipment
- Mechanical bolt‑up
- Industrial and/or commercial construction experience
- Knowledge of water treatment and/or wastewater treatment facility construction (asset)
- Valid Zoom Boom Ticket (considered an asset)
