This long-term assignment at the Catholic Education Centre involves performing maintenance on various building systems. Candidates will be responsible for inspections of heating, cooling, and water systems, while assessing upgrades for automation. The role demands strong troubleshooting skills as well as effective communication with board personnel and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical systems
• Inspect heating, cooling, and water systems for efficiency
• Assess and upgrade building automation systems
• Maintain logs and schedules for maintenance operations
• Handle custodial duties related to work areas
Requirements:
• Certification in Electrician or HVAC Technician required
• Knowledge of pneumatic controls and building maintenance
• Proficiency with software systems and controllers
• Experience reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
• Valid driver's license and ability to adapt work schedule
