Job Description

Our HiTech Division in Peterborough, NH, is seeking a part-time front desk receptionist who will be able to work 5 half days per week. In this role, you will support our facility by being the first point of contact for visitors and contractors, providing clerical assistance that will ensure smooth front office operations, greeting our visitors, managing a multi-line phone system, sorting mail, and maintaining a tidy reception area.

Duties

and Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors and provide them with correct badging for accessing the facility, along with the appropriate PPE (slip-on shoe covers if needed, safety glasses). Notify correct NHBB contact of visitor arrivals.
  • Manage visitor screening process, including visitor logs, as per company policy.
  • Manages internal/external phone communication which includes screening calls, forwarding incoming calls to appropriate individuals.
  • Sort incoming mail communications.
  • Manage clerical tasks including filing, data entry, log audits and tracking.
  • Provide support to Human Resources department regarding various tasks and projects, as needed.
  • Provide key information to attendees, vendors, or other stakeholders, as necessary. Procure required materials, or other supplies as needed.
  • Assist with other general requests throughout the day.
  • Maintain clean and tidy reception and common area.

Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and show good judgement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and office equipment (phones, fax).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of key constituents.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes.
  • Well organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Education and Experience
  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' previous reception or customer experience preferred.
  • Previous use of multi-line phone systems.
Physical Requirements
  • May include: sitting for long periods, standing, walking, bending, reaching, grabbing, carrying, pushing and pulling.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Able to work 5 half-days per week, with the occasional full day to provide additional coverage. Hours are Monday to Friday, 12:30pm to 5:00pm.
