KeyQualifications:
- Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement
- Demonstrated experience working with students with mild to severe disabilities
- Background supporting students exhibiting a wide range of behavioral needs
- Preference for candidates with experience in Emotional Disabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt instructional techniques to meet individual student IEPs
- Design and implement individualized instructional plans accommodating specific disabilities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Monitor student progress and document achievement, adapting approaches as needed
- Address a range of behavioral and emotional needs within the classroom setting
- Maintain compliance with all IDEA and district policies
