Contract Elementary Teacher (K-5) — Inspire Young Learners

Step into a rewarding contract role shaping young minds as a General Education Teacher at an elementary school in the Peterborough, NH area. This dynamic opportunity calls for passionate educators ready to nurture and inspire students from kindergarten through fourth grade.

Open positions include three roles in 3rd and 4th grade, one spot in kindergarten/1st grade, and one opening for 2nd grade. Each day runs approximately 7.25 hours, from 8:20 am to 3:45 pm, offering you consistency and the chance to build meaningful relationships with your students.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid teaching certification for K-3 or K-5
• Demonstrated experience in teaching core elementary subjects, including Math, Science, Social Studies, and English Language Arts
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for working with different grade levels and age groups
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to engage with other educators and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver engaging daily lessons across core content areas
• Develop a positive, inclusive classroom environment to support all learners
• Assess student performance and adjust instruction accordingly
• Communicate progress with families and participate in staff meetings
• Collaborate with grade-level team members for curriculum planning
• Uphold school policies and maintain accurate records of student performance
