Pay Rate
$70,000-$120,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications. Sign‑on bonus eligible, contingent on experience and skill level.
Schedules Available- 1st Shift Monday through Friday 7:00 am–4:00 pm or 8:00 am–500 pm, OT availability
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assessments and recommendations related to production capability, development, implementation, and review of processes and tooling design, and partnering with cross‑functional teams to lead projects to successful completion. You will also assist with onboarding new team members and oversee the development of presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Design for Manufacturability analysis of components and bearings, partnering with stakeholders to design solutions for customers.
- Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies for bearing assemblies and components.
- Develop and release manufacturing plans and detailed work instructions from 2‑D drawing‑based and 3‑D model‑based engineering, using both 2‑D and 3‑D model‑based work instructions with graphics while overseeing plan and build optimization.
- Communicate timelines for program development, review, and change requests, and proactively manage task execution to ensure on‑time completion and delivery of high‑quality manufacturing engineering products and support.
- Lead assigned capital expenditure (Cap Ex) projects from development and justification analysis through project completion.
- Resolve escalated technical issues, prioritizing impact on performance, cost or schedule.
- Participate in Kaizen events and implement LEAN principles and technologies.
- Lead small projects, partnering with employees at all levels to ensure deadlines and objectives are met, and oversee development of presentation data and materials.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to learn and share best practices, maintaining an understanding of industry standards and trends to improve processes within the primary work area.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental rules and regulations, keeping an organized work area and reporting concerns to leadership or the Safety team.
- Relevant technical and computer skills (AutoCAD/Solid Works, MS Access, and Excel).
- Proficient at blueprint reading, engineering drawing interpretation, and tolerancing.
- Ability to develop capital justification analysis for return on investment (ROI).
- Highly self‑motivated with demonstrated problem‑solving skills.
- Interpersonal and communication skills; ability to partner effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills including AutoCAD, Solid Works and MS Office (Word, Excel, and Access).
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Aerospace experience preferred but most desired, though not required.
