Are you a Quality Engineer with experience in Aerospace & Defense manufacturing?

Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer:
  • Understanding of Quality Management System Standards: AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 9000
  • Investigating Root Causes and Implementing Corrective Actions:
    Employing methods such as Apollo Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Five Whys, Ishikawa (Fishbone) Diagram, and various Problem-Solving Methodologies/Techniques like 8D and DMAIC.
  • Utilizing Six Sigma, Lean principles, and tools like Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Conduct audits to assess compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Reading and Interpreting engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Requirements of the Quality Engineer:
  • Experience with Aerospace & Defense products and processes.
  • A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering
  • ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, CQM), or a relevant experience in aerospace products and processes in a roll for Supplier Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering.
