We are seeking a per-diem Speech Language Pathologist to join our inpatient rehab team. Responsibilities include conducting initial evaluations and developing treatment plans for adult and geriatric inpatient populations in the areas of swallowing, voice, language and articulation and cognitive-linguistic assessment. High priority needs are bedside swallow assessment in cases of suspected aspiration and post stroke assessment of swallow, communication, and cognitive function.
Strong collaboration and communication skills are necessary to educate patients and families, and report findings and recommendations for diet modification or follow-up speech needs to Hospitalists and nursing staff. This position is intended to help cover SLP needs during school and summer vacation weeks, and holidays as able. Potential for cross training in the outpatient rehab department available for the right candidate.

Masters or better.
ExperienceMaster's degree and 1-2 years experience required. Certificate of Clinical Competence, CPR Certified.
