Join our client as a Certified Medical Assistant where you will provide essential clinical support in a dynamic healthcare environment.

You will work closely with physicians and patients, ensuring high-quality care and maintaining a professional atmosphere.

This role is perfect for those who enjoy working in a team and have a passion for helping others.

• Performs blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests and other procedures within scope of MA certification
• Assists physician in examinations, including taking blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration
• Keeps rooms cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies
• Takes and returns patient phone calls as directed by Physician
• Gives instructions to patients as instructed by physician
• Requisition s supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock
• Assists with the maintenance of the medical record including completion of referral forms, lab slips, and other documentation
• Assists patients getting to and from exam rooms and prepares them for exams
• Assists with any nursing procedure as directed by the Physician
• Works as a member of a team and is flexible

• Associate degree or higher
• Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
