Key Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests and other procedures within scope of MA certification
• Assist physicians in examinations, including taking blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration
• Keep rooms cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies
• Take and return patient's phone calls as directed by Physician
• Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician
• Requisition s supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock
• Assist with the maintenance of the medical record including completion of referral forms, lab slips, and other documentation
• Assist patients getting to and from exam rooms and prepares them for exams
• Assist with any nursing procedure as directed by the Physician
• Work as a member of a team and is flexible

• Associate degree or higher
• Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• ANYof the following valid licenses/certifications:
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
• American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
