Facilities Aide

We seek a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our Facilities team as a Facilities Aide. As a Facilities Aide, you will maintain our facilities' cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Your responsibilities will include performing general maintenance tasks, monitoring inventory, and assisting with various facilities-related duties. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities include:

• Assists in preparing apartments/cottages for new occupancy.
• Responsibilities include painting, basic repairs to mechanical systems, minor repairs to and installation of household appliances, light carpentry and plumbing work, and wall repair.
• Performs general repairs and maintenance in all buildings,s including preventative maintenance.
• Assists with residents' move-in service by performing functions such as hanging pictures, moving furniture, etc.
• Maintains grounds, performing seasonal duties as directed.
• Participates in the snow removal process as directed.
• Please note that you must be available for a rotating on-call schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of two years related experience in general repairs and maintenance preferred
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, memos, and instruction manuals.
• Ability to complete basic math calculations accurately.
• A valid NH driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be self-directed and dependable.
• Must be a team player with a can-do attitude!
