Materials PC I
Our Production Control team are looking for a Materials PC I individual to join their team. This position is responsible for the movement of materials within the facility, and ensuring safety, accuracy and maintaining all appropriate documentation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sort and deliver received goods to appropriate departments.
- Safe operation of powered industrial vehicle.
- Perform cycle counts as required.
- Maintain documentation as required.
Job Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to read, reference and interpret written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to follow established standard procedures.
- Previous experience using MAPICS software (preferred).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Computer proficiency in Office - especially with Word and Excel.
- Ability to maintain necessary records.
Education & Experience
Required:
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one (1) years of experience in manufacturing, with material handling production control experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Physically able to sit for prolonged periods of time. Must also be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, grab, twist, carry, push and pull as required to carry out job functions.
