Position: Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Case Manager (Days) Peterborough NH
The Utilization Review RN is accountable for a designated caseload and plans effectively to manage the length of stay, promote efficient utilization of resources and facilitate payer authorization.

The UR RN/Case Manager:

• Facilitates collaborative management of patient care, intervenes as necessary to remove barriers to efficient care delivery,
• Applies process improvement methodologies in evaluating the outcomes of care coordination, and
• Supports and coaches clinical documentation by staff and providers ensuring documentation reflects the severity of illness and intensity of service.

Requirement description :

• Computer skills with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel.
  
  - Required
• Minimum of five years acute care nursing experience, one year of case management, discharge planning and/or utilization review experience - Required
• Knowledge of performance improvement principles, tools and techniques.
• Case Management certification
  - Required
• Prior travel experience - Preferred
• BSN - Preferred
