Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

Job Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position on the evening shift at Genesis Healthcare. The LPN works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide efficient and effective nursing care, achieve positive clinical outcomes, and maintain patient/family satisfaction.

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (or pending licensure).
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center; or as required by the state for assisted living facilities.

USD $36.00 - $39.50 per hour plus an evening shift differential of $5.00 per hour.
