Description

Part-time, night shift (24 hours per week) on our 8-bed Labor & Delivery room unit. Candidates will be cross-trained in all aspects of obstetrical care, working with an OB/GYN and pediatric group in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care
    :
    Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborative Teamwork
    :
    Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    :
    Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate team members.
  • Medication Administration
    :
    Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and protocols.
  • Patient Education
    :
    Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Support and Advocacy
    :
    Offer emotional support and advocate for patients’ rights.
  • Adherence to Policies and Regulations
    :
    Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Continuous Learning
    :
    Stay updated on medical advancements, best practices, and industry standards through professional development.
  • Other Duties
    :
    Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
  • Previous OB nursing experience strongly preferred;
    Baccalaureate in nursing strongly preferred.
  • Certification in specialty strongly preferred; NRP and STABLE certifications required.

Working Hours

Part‑time night shift: 24 hours per week.

Pay:
Up to $56.00 per hour.

Part‑time employees are defined as working 22.5 to 35.99 hours per week.
