- The MDS Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and completion of clinical assessments, supporting documentation, care planning and transmitting the MDS, as required by federal and state regulations.
- Manage all Medicare/Medicaid case‑mix documents at the nursing center to assure appropriate reimbursement for services provided, collaborating with the center inter‑disciplinary team.
- Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to assure achievement of maximum allowable RUG categories.
- Communicate with the Business Office Manager regarding case‑mix data required for billing.
- Educate the inter‑disciplinary team on case‑mix terminology, language, and the format required by MDS.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
- One year of long‑term care clinical nursing experience.
- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, MDS completion, clinical resource utilization and/or case management is highly desirable.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.

Posted Salary Range: USD $36.00 - $39.50 /hr.
