About the Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Birthing Suite in a small hospital setting. The role is part-time, 24 hours per week, covering day shifts. Experience in obstetrics is strongly preferred; new graduates with compassion and a commitment to patient care are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and report changes or concerns promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments following hospital policies.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Offer emotional support and advocate for patients' rights.
- Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Engage in continuous learning through professional development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current RN license in New Hampshire.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred (baccalaureate strongly preferred).
- Certification: NRP and STABLE certifications required; specialty certification strongly preferred.
- Previous OB nursing experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment.
- Experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
- Confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and high‑pressure situations.
- Attention to detail in documentation, medication administration, and adherence to protocols.
- Comprehensive medical‑surgical nursing knowledge with assessment and critical‑thinking skills.
- Commitment to the mission of a nonprofit healthcare setting and community service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude toward patients.
- Team‑player ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
Part-time, 24 hours per week (day shifts).
SalaryUp to $50.00 per hour.
