Registered Nurse - Birthing Suite - Part Time Nights

About the Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Birthing Suite in a small hospital setting. The role is part-time, 24 hours per week, covering day shifts. Experience in obstetrics is strongly preferred; new graduates with compassion and a commitment to patient care are encouraged to apply.

• Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and report changes or concerns promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital policies.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Offer emotional support and advocate for patients' rights.
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Engage in continuous learning through professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Current RN license in New Hampshire.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred (baccalaureate strongly preferred).
• Certification: NRP and STABLE certifications required; specialty certification strongly preferred.
• Previous OB nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment.
• Experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
• Confidentiality and professional conduct.

• Attention to detail in documentation, medication administration, and adherence to protocols.
• Comprehensive medical‑surgical nursing knowledge with assessment and critical‑thinking skills.
