Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics Registered Nurse
The Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics Registered Nurse prescribes and coordinates professional nursing care for assigned obstetrics patients. S/he carries out these responsibilities independently within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice, medical direction, and hospital policies, procedures, and standards. On their 8-bed LDRP unit, they deliver over 350 babies annually.
Candidate will be cross trained in all aspects of obstetrical care within the Birthing Suite. You will work alongside a well established OB/GYN and pediatric group in a collaborative team environment and will assess, plan, organize, supervise, provide and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process. EMR Experience a MUST! AWHONN Required 8 Bed Unit Ratio - 1:1 (active labor) 1:2/3 for Mother/Baby NO OR/C-Section knowledge required Because every birth is a unique and individual experience, our doctors, nurses and staff are here to help patients give birth in their own special way.
