Emergency Department Nurse (RN)
The Emergency Department Nurse (RN) provides specialized nursing care within the emergency setting, ensuring timely and quality treatment for patients. This full-time position involves working collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver exemplary emergency care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient conditions, treatments, and progress updates.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and protocols.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Advocate for patients' rights by offering emotional support and ensuring respectful, compassionate care.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid RN license issued by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
- Possess at least 2 years of emergency room experience; new graduates are not eligible.
- Maintain current ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Preferred: CEN and TNCC certifications.
- Demonstrate knowledge of rhythm recognition and basic arrhythmia management.
