The Office Nurse supports the oncology & rheumatology care providers in the delivery of health care to patients by performing a variety of activities and procedures. The Office Nurse (RN/LPN) teaches and directs other clinical support staff (Medical Assistants) in the performance of acts delegated to them for the implementation of the therapeutic plan of care. The Office Nurse (RN/LPN) is integrally involved in observation and care of the ill, injured or infirm.

The RN/LPN actively directs of patient flow within the office, assists in patient education and is responsible for keeping clinical areas in appropriate condition for efficient delivery of health care services.

This is a full time position in Oncology/Rheumatology located at Monadnock Community Hospital.

• Patient Care: Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients' conditions, treatments, and progress. Report any changes or concerns promptly to the appropriate team members.
• Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and protocols.
• Wound Care:Provide wound care and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and protocols.
