We're looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our Culinary team as a Dishwasher. In this role, you'll help keep our kitchen running smoothly by ensuring dishes, utensils, and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored. Your work directly supports our team and helps create a positive dining experience for our residents.

This is a Casual position with evening hours
, including weekends and holidays.

River Mead is a progressive, not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents through cultural, educational, and holistic lifecare programs. Weekend Differential: $1.50 per hour from Friday at 5:00 PM through Sunday at midnight.

• Operate and maintain the automatic dishwashing machine according to established procedures
• Wash dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, and pans; return all items to proper storage areas
• Follow “clean as you go” procedures to maintain sanitation standards
• Monitor and empty trash as needed
• Keep silverware sorted and storage containers organized
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments
• Sweep and mop kitchen and service area floors using proper safety protocols (including wet floor signage)
• Break down and clean the dishwashing machine
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Assist with additional duties as needed to support the team and uphold River Mead's mission and values

• Minimum of two years of high school required
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Reliable, self-directed, and dependable
• Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
