As an Ad Hoc Nursery Assistant, you'll support local nurseries and childcare settings in Peterborough on a temporary, flexible basis. Whether you’re looking for part-time hours, term-time work, or a way to gain more experience in the early years sector, we offer a variety of shifts to suit your availability.

• Assisting with daily routines, activities, and play
• Supporting the care and supervision of children aged 0–5 years
• Ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
• Working alongside nursery staff to support learning and development
• Following safeguarding and health & safety procedures

• Previous experience in a childcare or early years setting (voluntary or paid)
• A genuine love of working with children
• Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential
