We have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join the team at Accent, supporting our school sites across the Peterborough area.

This is a permanent position, working between 25 - 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only - so all the school holidays off.

• general kitchen duties
• putting away deliveries
• food preparation
• serving, cleaning and washing up
• assisting with inventory management
• maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters keeping them looking attractive throughout the service time
• speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
• undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team

This role will require flexibility, as you will work in multiple schools across the Peterborough area. This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
