Day Porters: £28,002 per annum (Spine Point 29) Night Porters: £33,564 per annum (for 1.198 FTE) (Spine Point 29) Relief Porters: £14.68 per hour (Spine Point 29) The post-holder will be an effective member of the Porters Lodge team, providing front of house and reception services while dealing with security, emergency and other issues relating to College Fellows, staff, students and visitors.

Responsibilities include monitoring College security, responding to fire alarms and incidents, controlling access, issuing keys, maintaining records, supervising events, providing first aid, liaising with emergency services, supporting conferences and guests, operating the central telephone enquiry point, and ensuring compliance with College rules, policies, health and safety, equality of opportunity and data protection requirements.
