Fire Damper Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Fire Door Damper based in Luton / Watford / Peterborough area. Duties will include damper inspections, service and maintenance, liaising and developing working relationships; completion of paperwork; compliance with company policies to ensure that regulations are complied with for our ongoing accreditation to safe contractor and CHAS and ISO. You will also need to use a reporting system on your phone.

Your responsibilities:

· Report to the lead fire damper engineer

· Carry out maintenance, repair, commissioning and service support to a range of fire and smoke dampers.

· Install and replace all types of fire and smoke damper equipment accordingly

· Identify faults and report findings

· Completion of relevant paperwork including use of a live reporting mobile app

· Some requirements for night shifts/out of hours, so flexibility on night shifts is required

· Accommodation & expenses covered (weekly reimbursement + £200 float provided)

Experience & Qualifications

· An understanding of mechanical fire systems design and industry regulations

· CSCS card

· Asbestos awareness

· Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

· Driving license
