Forklift Service Engineer Apprentice

Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who wants to learn the skills needed to develop a career as a forklift engineer. This apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity to combine on‑the‑job working, excellent training and development, and the chance to work for the world’s No 1 forklift truck and materials handling manufacturer.

• Shadow and work with your mentor and the team to understand material handling equipment.
• Learn about the trucks, how they work and how to fix them.
• Attend block college weeks for classroom and workshop learning.
• Engage in online learning and development with the learning provider.

• GCSE grades A–C or 4–9 in English, Maths and either Science/Engineering or IT (or equivalent).
• Interest in mechanical engineering.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to take instruction and pursue development.
• Basic computer skills.
