Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer

Location: Peterborough
Salary: 35,000- 40,000 per annum (flexible for the right candidate)
Hours: 40 hrs/week (08:00-17:00, Monday-Friday) plus reactive out-of-hours if required
Travel: 30 minutes each way
Van & Fuel Card: Provided (personal use included)

Overview
We are hiring a skilled Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer to join our growing team. This is a field-based role focused on delivering high-quality electrical testing, inspection, and minor works across client sites, ensuring safety and compliance at all times.

Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer, you will:

  • Carry out EICRs
  • Conduct PAT testing
  • Complete minor installations and remedial works
  • Support the projects team when required
  • Produce accurate certification and reports
  • Deliver professional, customer-focused service

Ideal Candidate
The ideal Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer will have:

  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., 2391 or equivalent)
  • Experience completing EICRs and PAT testing
  • Strong fault-finding and remedial skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • A reliable and proactive attitude
