Security Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to install, commission, service, and maintain intruder alarm systems, CCTV and access control systems across commercial and domestic sites.

This is a field-based role suited to a reliable, hands-on engineer who takes pride in high-quality installations and customer service.

• Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of intruder alarm systems
• Installation and configuration of CCTV systems (IP and analogue)
• Installation and maintenance of access control systems
• Fault finding, servicing, and system upgrades
• Ensuring work is completed to relevant British Standards and company procedures
• Completing job documentation and compliance paperwork
• Providing professional on-site customer support
• Out of hours call outs

• Proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
• Experience with major manufacturers (e.g. Pyronix, Hikvision, Paxton, Honeywell, etc.)
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication skills and a professional approach to customers
• NSI or SSAIB experience
• Knowledge of fire alarms (advantageous)
• IPAF / ECS / CSCS cards
• Experience working on commercial and high-end residential sites
