Electrical Technician

Peterborough Salary - Negotiable DOE Monday - Friday days. Your new role:
Based in Peterborough, you will be joining the UK's leading water/ clean water equipment and processing manufacturing business, who now, due to continued growth, are looking for an Electrical Technician to join their engineering team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Installation of electrical systems Working with single-phase, three-phase, low-voltage and extra-low voltage electrical circuits Preparation and termination of electrical circuits Troubleshooting electrical instrumentation and mechanical equipment and presenting technical solutions to address these issues Testing electrical systems incorporating PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and relays Commissioning of special build equipment, electrically and mechanically This is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.

Skills & Experience required:

City and Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent (mandatory) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations would be highly beneficial. Experience in industrial electrical works Experience wiring and fault-finding PLC controlled equipment Ability to work alone or within a team environment.
