Overview
We're hiring a qualified Roofer for consistent work within your Community. - Carrying out roofing repairs across domestic properties including pitched and flat roofs
- Completing work such as tile repairs, mortar work and general roof maintenance
- Working to drawn specifications, reports and repair requirements
- Completing general building repairs linked to roofing work
- Working to specifications and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements
- Collaborating with supervisors, schedulers and wider teams to meet deadlines
- Recording work activity and completing required documentation
- Supporting apprentices and contributing to team performance and KPIs
- A structured schedule covering repairs and maintenance work
- Travelling between jobs in your company van
- Working independently or with a team of other tradespeople
- Engaging directly with customers in their homes
- Completing work efficiently while maintaining quality and compliance standards
- Occupied homes
- Empty (void) properties
- A range of domestic properties within your local area
- Environments involving vulnerable customers
- NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds in Roofing or equivalent experience
- Experience carrying out roofing repairs within domestic or social housing properties
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and maintain high quality standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Based within the PE postcode area
- Experience carrying out general building repairs
- Experience working across multiple trades
Basic DBS check is required. You may be required to work across surrounding areas.
