Service Engineer – Industrial Weighing
Location:
Within 1 hour of Peterborough
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 basic salary (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
OverviewWe are an established engineering business specialising in industrial weighing and process measurement equipment. We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to support customers across the region.
Responsibilities- Service, repair and install industrial weighing equipment
- Attend breakdowns and carry out preventative maintenance
- Complete calibration and commissioning work at customer sites
- Fault‑find across electrical, mechanical and IT‑based systems
- Provide professional customer support while working in the field
- Prepare service reports and maintain accurate records
- Experience servicing weighing equipment (essential)
- Electrical, mechanical, instrumentation or IT‑based engineering background
- Previous customer‑facing field service experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
- Door‑to‑door pay
- Company van and tools provided
- Training and long‑term development
