We are recruiting for an experienced Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician to join a busy main dealership in Peterborough. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, have relevant technical experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. A recognised Diagnostic qualification is required for Diagnostic Technician applicants.

Salary: £36,000 - £40,805 Basic | OTE: £47,000+
Hours:
45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota

Service / Diagnostic Technician Role
Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to a high standard
Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using specialist diagnostic equipment
Complete warranty and repair work efficiently and accurately
Carry out electric vehicle work where appropriately qualified
Complete hydraulic repairs safely and in line with required standards
Support Apprentice Technicians with their technical development where required
Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and workshop efficiency
Service / Diagnostic Technician Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
Previous experience as a Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Motor Vehicle Technician
Recognised Diagnostic qualification required for Diagnostic Technician applicants
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, servicing and repair skills
Full UK Driving Licence
Right to work in the UK
