Service / Diagnostic Technician – Peterborough
We are recruiting for an experienced Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician to join a busy main dealership in Peterborough. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, have relevant technical experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. A recognised Diagnostic qualification is required for Diagnostic Technician applicants.

Salary: £36,000 - £40,805 Basic | OTE: £47,000+
Hours:
45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota

- Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to a high standard
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using specialist diagnostic equipment
- Complete warranty and repair work efficiently and accurately
- Carry out electric vehicle work where appropriately qualified
- Complete hydraulic repairs safely and in line with required standards
- Support Apprentice Technicians with their technical development where required
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and workshop efficiency
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Motor Vehicle Technician
- Recognised Diagnostic qualification required for Diagnostic Technician applicants
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, servicing and repair skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
