HGV Technician
Location:
Peterborough
Pay: £43,680 to £50,000 per annum
Interaction Recruitment are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a reputable and well‑established operation based in Cambridgeshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and skilled technician looking for stability, strong earning potential, and long‑term progression.

- Conducting vehicle inspections and fault‑finding diagnostics.
- Completing servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard.
- Preparing HGVs for MOT testing.
- Working efficiently to manage your workload and maintain productivity.
- Liaising with the Workshop Manager to ensure parts are ordered and delivered promptly.
- Maintaining a clean, safe working environment and ensuring equipment longevity.
- Completing all required documentation accurately for each job carried out.
- Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service & Maintenance qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience across a varied HGV fleet
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
- Capability to deliver servicing to manufacturer and main dealer standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
