Salary: Up to £56,160 per annum + Overtime
We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a large, well-established operation in Tuxford. Working within a modern, well-maintained workshop, you'll be part of a sizeable engineering team supporting a mixed fleet of trucks and trailers.
As an HGV Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, inspections, diagnostics and repairs to ensure the fleet remains compliant, roadworthy and operating efficiently. You'll work on a varied workload consisting of approximately 70% trailer maintenance and repair, predominantly on single-deck trailers, with the remaining 30% focused on Scania, Volvo and DAF trucks.
Working alongside a skilled team of technicians, you'll be expected to identify faults, complete repairs to a high standard and ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company and DVSA standards.
The site is a 4 bay workshop with facilities that include including trailer ramps, MOT-specification equipment, air jacks, brake rollers, overhead cranes and multiple service bays.
Shift Options Days/Afters Rotation- 5:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 11:00pm

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Experience working on trucks and/or trailers
