Cable Percussion Lead Driller

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Cable Percussion Drilling team ( Cable Percussion Lead Driller & 2nd Man) to join our team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining cable percussion drilling rigs on a variety of sites, undertaking ground investigations and geotechnical sampling
.

• Operating and maintaining cable percussion drilling rigs, including mobilization and demobilization.
• Conducting drilling operations in accordance with site-specific risk assessments and method statements.
• Collecting soil and rock samples for laboratory testing.
• Maintaining accurate records of drilling activities, including borehole logs and sample information.
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Working effectively as part of a team.
• Liaising with site engineers and clients.
• Troubleshooting and resolving any on-site issues.
• Maintaining company vehicles and equipment. Essential
  
  Skills and Experience:
• Proven experience as a Cable Percussion Drilling (minimum 3 years)
• Valid CSCS cards.
• Full UK driving license (preferably with C1/C endorsement).
• NVQ Level 2 or above in Land Drilling or equivalent qualification (Essential).
• Strong understanding of ground investigation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret site drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A strong commitment to health and safety.

• Experience with other drilling techniques (e.g. Sonic, rotary drilling, window sampling).
• First Aid certification.
• Experience working in confined spaces.
