Provide operational support as part of a cross‑functional IT Infrastructure team, as well as assist in the maintenance & administration of automated control & IT systems for manufacturing API site projects & future operations. Responsible for the configuration, installation & working condition of the automation equipment control systems & computer information systems throughout the facility, including site ERP systems, SAP.

Reports to Manager.

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose & resolve issues with IT network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, WAPs, etc.) & infrastructure systems (Monitoring Tools, Network Management systems, etc.)
• Hands‑on with hardware & software including server room & patch room build outs
• Operate infrastructure networks equipment/systems under FDA regulations & guidelines as they relate to computer‑based information & automation systems
• Provide tier 1‑2 IT network support, including after‑hours
• Provide tier 1‑2 server administration/support for onsite virtual servers
• Provide tier 1 support of site ERP system, SAP, including iDOC monitoring, analysis, & resolution
• Liaison between Site end users & HQ end user support for site ERP system, SAP
• Provide ad‑hoc production support & after‑hours support to the site for IT related issues
• Inventory control of patch cables, video cables, peripherals & other IT items
• Maintain network/infrastructure documentation in accordance with corporate requirements
• Support backup/restore processes for manufacturing systems
• Interact with equipment & service vendors for troubleshooting, installation, improving reliability &/or efficiency purposes
• Perform life‑cycle system management tasks in conjunction with corporate IT teams for network & infrastructure systems
• Participate in corporate infrastructure guidance groups
• Provide superior customer service
• Identify, report & may recommend corrective action for any unsafe conditions to a supervisor, or department manager
• Adhere to safety procedures including, but not limited to wearing product specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, safety glasses, lock out, confine space & other company policies & procedures
• Follow all cGMPs & ensures that product is manufactured according to procedure & current Good Manufacturing Practices
• Maintain training readiness
• Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties
• Other duties as assigned

Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. (% can change on a case‑by‑case basis based on the role.)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field from an accredited university required
• May consider an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field from an accredited college and seven (7) years of experience implementing & administering networks in a medium‑to‑large enterprise environment and supporting Windows based virtual servers
• May consider a High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of nine (9) years of experience implementing & administering networks in a medium‑to‑large enterprise environment and supporting Windows based virtual servers
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience implementing & administering networks in a medium to large enterprise environment required
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting Windows based virtual servers required
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in support of production operations preferred
