Salary Range: $28.00 To $32.00 Hourly

We are looking for an AV Instructional Technology Technician to provide hands-on technical support for audiovisual and classroom technology across a university campus.

Responsibilities:

• Support projectors, displays, microphones, speakers, cameras, and video conferencing systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair classroom, conference room, and event AV equipment.
• Perform equipment testing, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Provide AV support for meetings, conferences, commencement, and other university events.
• Assist faculty, staff, students, and guests with classroom and presentation technology.
• Document issues and repairs using a ticketing/help desk system.
• Assist with AV installations, equipment replacements, and technology upgrades.
• Provide evening and weekend support for scheduled events.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional AV support experience.
• Experience troubleshooting, installing, operating, and maintaining AV equipment.
• Experience supporting classrooms, meetings, or live events.
• Experience with a help desk or ticketing system is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands-on equipment work.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.

Preferred:

Experience with
Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp
, or AVIXA CTS certification.
