IT Asset Management Specialist
This is a 9-month contract position – On-site
Description:Manages IT hardware and software assets from acquisition through retirement, maintaining inventory, transfers, audits, tickets, warranties, contracts, licenses, PC refreshes, and compliance reports.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate the transfer of IT assets between business units within 5 to 7 business days.
- Generate, distribute, and review weekly IT asset management reports.
- Complete ITSM tickets within 7 - 10 business days.
- Monitor the ITSM IT Asset Management queue on a daily basis.
- Update notes with clear and accurate information to ensure that the lifecycle of the ticket is accurately captured.
- Correctly manage the ITAM queue.
- Assist with the Asset IMAC and PC Refresh process.
- Perform periodic inventories and usage monitoring of all IT assets and record all findings, changes in physical location, and instances of support.
- Track and maintain copies of hardware warranties, maintenance agreements, leases, and vendor contracts, including contract expirations.
- Assist in tracking and maintaining software licenses. Perform periodic software audits of installs on desktops, servers, and network equipment.
- Assist in the reconciliation process of the software repository with the approval list on a semiannual basis.

Required: 1 Year - Must be able to lift, pull, or push 50 lbs. as a regular part of the job duties —
