General Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of leadership experience in heavy industrial operations (steel mill services, slag processing, metals, construction, or related industry)
• Proven experience managing multi-shift operations in a high-risk industrial environment
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Demonstrated success leading large hourly work forces
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience working directly with customers in an operational services capacity
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in industrial environments

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day site operations within a 24/7 heavy industrial steel mill environment
• Serve as the primary liaison between the customer (mill leadership) and executive operations leadership
• Drive a strong safety culture focused on hazard recognition, compliance, and workforce accountability
• Ensure operational excellence across manpower, materials, and equipment utilization
• Manage workforce planning, headcount, and performance across multiple shifts
• Oversee cost control, budgeting, and site-level profitability (P&L responsibility)
• Ensure compliance with customer contract terms and company performance standards
• Improve operational processes, productivity, and quality measures
• Lead employee relations and foster a high-performance, team-oriented culture
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations
• Oversee capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives
