• Transfers out: inpatient pediatrics, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, thoracic surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, vascular surgery

  • Physician: 7-on/7-off schedule
  • APP: 5-on/10-off schedule
  • Hospitalist team includes: 10 full-time Physicians, 10 full-time APPs, and 2 full-time nocturnists
  • 4 Physicians, 4 APPs round at a time with afternoon swing/admission shift coverage
  • Overnight in-house nocturnist is responsible for admissions and overnight in-house nocturnist APP is responsible for floor cross coverage, responding to rapids (collaborating with nocturnist)
