Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills are required. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended. Unit Specific Details Unit Size: 32 beds, 5 recliner chairs (can flex up to 10 hallway beds) Patient Population:
Very busy; all ages and medical complaints; daily trauma (located near 3 major highways); includes MVAs, mass casualties, GSWs, stabbings, stroke alerts, and STEMIs; nearby prisons (patients may arrive with guards); behavioral holds (including Alzheimer’s patients); occasional pediatric holds awaiting transfer Equipment/

Skills:
