Responsibilities
  • Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards with a focus on quality customer service
  • Install and repair electrical wiring and systems
  • Inspect, test, and perform preventative maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communications, and power circuits
  • Identify, communicate, and isolate electrical hazards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of electrical construction practices including threading, bending conduit, and pulling/removing wire
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in the electrical trade
  • Experience working with voltages up to 480 V
  • Experience installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting/power systems
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Must have a valid Journeyman Electrician Card or Master Electrician License
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Willingness to work on‑call, weekends, and nights
  • Willingness to work out of town as assigned
  • Willingness to work overtime as part of a standard weekly schedule
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
  • Must be able to frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds
  • Must be able to see color to discern color‑coded wiring
  • Must be able to work in various conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat and cold
Additional Requirements
  • Must work Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; additional work, including on‑call, may be required
  • Must maintain a satisfactory background record
  • Must be able to travel overnight as needed
