Currently, we are searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to work at Carriage House Apartment in Petersburg, VA.
DescriptionWe are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who is HVAC & EPA Certified. This individual must have a strong background in multifamily properties, with experience in HVAC, appliance, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. A commitment to exceptional customer service is critical.
DutiesThe Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for directing other staff members, delegating assignments as needed to assure all work orders are completed in a timely manner. The supervisor will review and order parts or schedule services needed to complete resident work order repairs. Some duties will include wall repairs, A/C and heating repairs, doors, cabinets and closets, and other duties as assigned.
QualificationsMust have 5+ years of maintenance experience with 3 years in a supervisory capacity. Must be HVAC & EPA licensed and available to work overtime. Must have own hand tools and any specialized tools for HVAC, plumbing & electrical. Must be able to move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment. Candidate must accommodate emergency on‑call schedule if requested. CPO certifications preferred.
Must have reliable transportation. Background screening and drug test required.
