As a Plant Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical guardian of operational continuity, ensuring that heavy-duty machinery remains in peak condition to support high-volume production. By leveraging your expertise in mechanical diagnostics and system repairs, you will directly influence facility safety and equipment longevity.

By leveraging your expertise in mechanical diagnostics and system repairs, you will directly influence facility safety and equipment longevity.
Responsibilities- Execute complex repairs and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery to minimize downtime and maximize output efficiency.
- Diagnose mechanical malfunctions by observing equipment performance and utilizing advanced diagnostic tools to determine necessary corrective actions.
- Perform routine inspections, lubrication, and adjustments on power inputs and outputs to maintain optimal machine health.
- Install, assemble, and calibrate new components and accessories to ensure seamless integration with existing production lines.
- Identify and mitigate potential environmental hazards or safety risks associated with equipment operation to protect the workforce.
- Document maintenance activities and report equipment status to engineering and production teams to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience maintaining heavy industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and gearbox systems.
- Strong grasp of welding techniques, including stick and TIG, as well as cutting torch operation.
- Working knowledge of NFPA 70E safety standards and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Proven ability to pass standardized mechanical aptitude assessments.
- Experience working with industrial controls, including PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and VFDs.
- Familiarity with servo motors and HMI interfaces.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across cross-functional departments.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex technical schematics and measurement data using calipers and micrometers.
