Position: Student Employee Athletics - North Central Michigan College

Pay rate: $12.50 per hour minimum

Schedule:

This job will attempt to schedule shifts around your class schedule.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The student worker is responsible for positively representing North Central Michigan College when working at games or with external parties. A high level of customer service is expected to warmly welcome all students, faculty, staff and visitors working to establish a quality first impression. No more than 20 hours per week; with at shift schedule built around a students' class schedule and/or game days.

DUTIES:

* Assists with laundering uniforms, setting up equipment, or assisting during games.

* Conducts self in a professional manner and is attentive to all.

* Maintains a positive and helpful approach to people interactions by being enthusiastic and personable.

* Is punctual, reliable, and conscientious in the performance of all duties.

* Maintains an organized and cleanly work space.

* Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Student Employees must meet guidelines as set by North Central Michigan College in the Student Employee Definition and follow policies and procedures of the College as well as:

* Be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at NCMC.

* Demonstrates a willingness to learn and excellence in customer service.

* Awareness of and appreciation for individual uniqueness and diversity.

* Experience with basic computer tasks and telephone etiquette.
